In this episode, Fr. Maurtius is joined by his fellow Missionary Benedictines, Sr. Fidelis Marie Lanowich 
and Sr. Gabriel Mary Oestreich of the Immaculata Monastery, Norfolk, NE and Br. Damian Cayetano of Christ the King Priory, Schuyler, NE. The group discusses what drew them to the Holy Rule of St. Benedict. They share their discernment process concerning their vocational call, the response of family and friends. They discuss the experience of finding “home” within the life of their communities.
Father Mauritius Wilde, OSB, Ph.D., did his philosophical, theological and doctoral studies in Europe. He is the author of several books and directs retreats regularly. He serves as Prior of our monastery in Schuyler.

I love God as much as I do because he makes total sense.
Even when it is something that I need to change, He is never wrong.
When life is so crazy, I can close my bedroom door or go to the chapel and within those walls and in His mercy He renews me through the loud quiet.
And when I pray thru work, It is all for the glory of God.
And when prayers are answered, it is just so amazing.
He has answered so many of my prayers.
He thinks I am special enough to deserve His love, well their just isn’t anything more wonderful then that.

Behold, God is my helper; the Lord sustains my life.
I also just think it would be so awesome for the young to answer to the call.
