  1. I am in the process of Conversion to catholicism. I was (still am with a debilitating illness ME and last year I was on the verge of giving up) I went to see a Psychologist after a few sessions he asked me did I believe in God I said yes but I was really cross with him because my life has gone from crisis to crisis. My Grandmother was a devout Catholic and a massive influence in my life, my parents are both atheists and divorced when I was 9 my Grandmother was heartbroken and the divorce had a massive impact on my childhood and into adulthood really. My gran was killed by a drunk driver when I was 16.It was heartbreaking. I always kept busy but having ME takes one’s independance away and last year following an accident I became housebound and depressed. The psychologist said i was broken in mind body and spirit. I started to pray then to read and educate myself on Catholicism I got through about 32 books in 4 months and after looking into Buddhism too. I decided I wanted to convert to catholicism (I was Baptised C/E ) just to please my Grandmother? I recalled statues of our Lady in her home and i found her Prayer Book. I called my local Priest and explained that I felt the holy Spirit was speaking to me and he visits once a week. My aunt whom I adore is 79 and she gave me a Rosary I learned the Rosary and have prayed it almost everyday since last October 2011, some days I feel so wretched but I pray the Rosary and something lifts within my heart. I love Mary, that is such a beautiful picture. My relationship with my mother is not good I pray for her though. I was feeling abit down about an hour ago I went onto the Divine Office site to show my aunt then I came back from the bathroom and this was on my computer Discerning Hearts. I will visit this site regularly now it is beautiful

Always remember the Lord loves you and He knew you before you were born…he has called you by name, and you name is carved on the Palm if HIs Hands…..

This picture is truly so beautiful and our Mother brings us closer to our Savior, the rosary has been a wonderful weapon to fight temptations in this alluring world. This is the first time I am visiting this site and I like it….
